Patsy and J. M. were born in 1916 and they grew up in on a farm in Union, KY. They talk about the many people they remember that lived there and what the roads were like and the businesses of the community. J.M. describes working on the construction of US 42 in 1931 from a gravel road. Lassing family history includes the first Governor of Guam and a Mayor of Nashville TN and Kentucky Court of Appeals Judge John Lassing. There is a lot of discussion of family history tracing many lines of their family.
